Yamalube Polyurea Pump Grease

Yamaha's updated factory directive uses Yamalube Polyurea Grease (part number ACC-POLYG-RS-05) as the required replacement. Both are NLGI #2 grade, but Polyurea is the current standard for watercraft and sport boats because of its superior oxidation and rust protection.
Because grease needs and maintenance intervals can vary depending on the specific hull, engine, or pump style, having the right products on hand is critical.

Service Manual watercraft and sport boat impeller ducts call for the application of EPNOC grease during assembly. NOW superseded with this new Polyurea grease.

Yamaha officially replaced Yamalube EPNOC Jet Pump Grease with Yamalube Polyurea Grease (part number ACC-POLYG-RS-05). Both are NLGI #2 grade greases designed to withstand high-stress environments and are used interchangeably in Yamaha jet pump assemblies and intermediate housings.
Because EPNOC is a discontinued formulation, the polyurea grease is now the factory-recommended substitute and direct replacement for routine watercraft and sport boat maintenance.
