Returns 

Returning a brand new item, in its original packaging is easy!  

This policy will affect all products unless otherwise listed below in the product specific section of the return policies. 

Leading Edge Impellers will gladly accept your return of new unused merchandise for refund (minus freight charges, and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee) or exchange within 30 days of invoice date. All sales are final after 30 working days. Items returned with damage or missing the original packaging will be rejected and the return will not be processed. Contact the customer service department at (949) 229-7339 or returns@leadingedgeimpellers.com for a return authorization (RA) number and return instructions (see below for details). Do not return any merchandise without calling and receiving a return authorization number (RA#). This number must be used for all returns and must appear prominently on the outside of the box. No returns are accepted on impellers that have been used, tools or special order items. Items returned must include all original packaging and labels in good condition. (Free of dents, tears, markings, writing of any kind, greasy fingerprints etc.) Please note the original packaging is not intended for shipping purposes. The original packaging must be packed inside of a shipping box. Returns using the original packaging box as a shipment box will be rejected. Please note that there may be restocking fees, shipping costs, or product change order costs associated with some returns. Feel free to check with the Leading Edge Impellers Returns Department for specific terms, conditions, and eligibility. 

We also understand that life happens. In the case where you are not within the 30-Day time frame, please give us the opportunity to provide a solution specifically for you. 

Required Steps for Returns 
If your situation qualifies you to return one or more items as defined above, you may return the item(s) you received by following the steps outlined below. Please remember that after first 30 days from the date your order was shipped, you lose the ability to return the item(s). 

A Return Authorization Number (as explained below) is required before you can return any item. To receive a Return Authorization Number, you must contact Leading Edge Impellers by phone (949) 229-7339 or email returns@leadingedgeimpellers.com 

Without a Return Authorization Number, we cannot accept and process any return.  

When requesting this Return Authorization Number by email, you must include the following information in your email: 

  • Your name (first and last) 

  • Your phone number (including area code) 

  • Detailed product description(s) and/or SKU number(s) 

  • Reason for return (defective, shipping error, etc.) 

  • Original order# you received at the time you placed your order 

 

Once you have the Return Authorization Number, follow these steps in shipping an item back as a return. 

  • Products must be received by the warehouse within two weeks of receiving the Return Authorization Number. After two weeks, returns will not be accepted. 

  • You must include a copy of the original packing slip with a note indicating the Return Authorization Number and the reason for the return. 

  • The product must be repacked into its original packing, including the original packing slip. 

  • If returning an impeller, all items that came with the impeller must be included in the return, ie- impeller seal, tool.  

  • The product must be shipped back to the address given by the returns department. The return authorization must be written on the outside of the shipping box (not the product box). 

  • You must use a method of shipping that can be tracked, such as UPS or insured Parcel Post. This is important to ensure arrival at the facility from where it was shipped. Leading Edge Impellers will not be responsible for items lost or damaged on the return trip to the warehouse. Make sure it is packaged and insured accordingly. 

 

Please remember, refunds are not given for shipping charges (including return shipping) unless your situation is a damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped item as determined by Leading Edge Impellers. 

You will receive an email confirming credit when it has been issued. This process can take up to 30 business days from the date the products are received at the warehouse.

*Our Perfect Pitch guarantee is free for (1) repitch only. This PP guarantee does not cover shipping costs. You would pay to ship the impeller to us, as well as shipping to get it back. 

Non-returnable Items 
Some items are non-returnable, such as those listed below. We encourage you to review your purchase of these non-returnable items and verify they will meet your needs before placing your order. 

Custom Made, and custom pitched impellers 
All custom pitched, and made-to-order impellers are non-returnable. Because these impellers are custom-made to match the specifications you desire for your watercraft, returns will not be accepted. Defective merchandise may be returned, but only with a return authorization number. 

Impellers 
Impellers will only be accepted for return in new unopened condition or if the impeller is defective or damaged in shipping. Once impeller has been used or put in the water it will only be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number and be requested within 30 days of receiving product. All impeller returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 

Tools 
All tool sales are final, we will not accept returns. Please be careful when picking tools for purchase.
