The Solas Yamaha YQS-SV-144/74 is a 144mm 12 Vane Pump stator section that produces incredible gains in performance! Bottom end hook up and acceleration is improved big time! As well as overall efficiency in rough conditions, which results in more top speed, because your pump is hooked up so well!
Another huge benefit from using this pump is that because the vanes are stainless steel, rather than aluminum, you rarely have to worry about blowing out your pump vanes and losing performance!
The YQS-SV-144/74 is the stator section of the pump only, and replaces your existing OEM Yamaha 6 vane pump section. This pump is made of stainless steel, with a larger 74mm diameter bearing carrier, and uses 12 vanes. Comes with a tail-cone/bearing cover.
If you don't already have one, you'll need a large hub design impeller like an Impros Hooker impeller, a Solas Concord YQ-CD, or Skat-Trak C+75 Swirl impeller with this pump. Since you'll have to press out your shaft/bearing assembly, we recommend that you also replace the pump bearings and seals while you're swapping this part out- We also sell those parts.
Common skis that use this pump are the Yamaha SuperJet, WaveBlaster, and others that use the 144mm pump.
