The OEM Yamaha Pump Packing is a rubber/metal gasket that seals the jet pump to the hull. Damaged packing is often times the cause of pump ventilation.

OEM Yamaha 144mm pump packing. This gasket seals the front of the wear ring to the shoe/hull. Old packing gets worn out and allows air to leak through and cause ventilation.
